Liminal, a leading regulated digital asset custody provider known for its innovative multi-party computation (MPC) wallet infrastructure, has taken a significant step forward in redefining digital asset management for Web3 enterprises. Introducing the much-awaited Vaults Android app, Liminal now extends its accessibility to Android users, alongside the existing iOS platform, marking a pivotal expansion for the company.
The Liminal Vaults Android app introduces a new era of convenience for managing digital assets, enabling users to oversee transactions on the go and engage in collaborative asset management. What sets this app apart is its integration of secure Multiparty Computation (MPC) technology, ensuring seamless transaction approvals while maintaining top-tier security protocols. By adding an extra layer of authentication to each transaction, the app guarantees uncompromised key control, making it the preferred choice for Web3 organizations seeking secure and efficient asset management.
One of the standout features of the Vaults Android app is the 'Share Shard' functionality, which enhances collaborative asset management by securely distributing shards among designated parties. Additionally, the 'Restore Shard via Recovery Zip' feature provides a safety net for recovering shards in situations of data loss or device changes, ensuring uninterrupted access to valuable digital assets.
Dhruvil Shah, SVP of Technology at Liminal, shared his enthusiasm about the launch, saying, "We're thrilled to introduce the Liminal Vaults app to Android users. As the Web3 landscape continues to evolve rapidly, our commitment lies in providing a secure and user-friendly platform tailored to modern businesses and individuals. This app empowers secure transaction approvals on the go, instilling confidence in seamless management of diverse digital assets across devices."
Rahil Shaikh, AVP of Product and Blockchain at Liminal, emphasized the role of innovation in effective digital asset management, citing the introduction of the Vaults Android app, the Smart Consolidation feature, and new protocol support as evidence of the company's commitment to simplifying asset handling complexities. These updates, Shaikh noted, harmoniously blend security, efficiency, and convenience to meet the evolving needs of the Web3 ecosystem.
In its pursuit of empowering Web3 participants, Liminal is introducing the Smart Consolidation feature and new protocol support. The Smart Consolidation feature brings a fundamental change to digital asset management by automating the consolidation of smaller balances into a single address. This optimizes transaction flow, reducing gas fees and manual efforts, while enhancing security by moving wallet balances above a certain threshold to cold wallets, thereby bolstering protection against potential threats.
The update also introduces support for new protocols, including zkEVM, BSC, and AVAX. This expansion empowers Web3 enterprises to manage EVM-based assets on the zkEVM chain, all while benefiting from Liminal's Gas Fee Saver feature. With the addition of BSC and AVAX testnet support alongside the existing BSC and AVAX mainnet support, Liminal users gain the ability to build and test Web3 applications across multiple networks.
These advancements underline Liminal's steadfast commitment to maintaining a leading role in digital asset management. By offering users tools that redefine the secure management of assets, Liminal is solidifying its place at the forefront of the industry. As the company continues to bridge the gap between user convenience and robust security, it provides a comprehensive and advanced digital asset management experience that meets the needs of the evolving Web3 landscape.
