The Moreau Physical Therapy team announced the implementation of asynchronous digital video technology as part of a partnership with Health Care Transformation. Through this innovation, the healthcare industry will attract more providers for referrals and recruitment while encouraging patients to enroll in physical therapy, prepare for their first appointment, and follow up after discharge. Remote video streaming has become possible with the innovative healthcare tool, and patients and providers are able to watch videos from anywhere.
With a history dating back to 1977, Moreau Physical Therapy offers clients a wide range of therapy, rehabilitation, and wellness services in Louisiana and Texas. With 21 locations, their team of skilled therapists specializes in providing outpatient and inpatient treatment in various areas, including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Pediatric Therapy, Chiropractic care, and Industrial Medicine services.
“We strive to innovate as an organization. We want to continue to grow in ways that are more effective and scalable,”
- comments the head of marketing at Moreau Physical Therapy, Sarah Hess.
“It’s been incredible to work with HCT to enhance our automation and communication with patients throughout their care journey. The patients love it, but it also saves time for our patient care teams. It improves the patient experience, and it drives patients back into our care when they need it.”
As of today, more than 25 hours of video content have been watched, and all patients have been satisfied and find the digital asynchronous video technology helpful. Patients' concerns and questions can be addressed with the technology both prior to and after medical consultations, making it a promising tool for improving the patient experience.
“Moreau PT is at the forefront of implementing asynchronous video technology,”
- outlines Meghan Nechrebecki, Founder and CEO of Health Care Transformation.
“Not only are they using it throughout the patient care journey, but they’re also using the platform to communicate with referring providers and potential PT recruitments, which is a perfect use case given they are seeking the best and brightest to join their growing organization.”
