Captain's Best, Grenadines
Sailing through the Grenadines, made up of 35 small islands nestled between Grenada and St. Vincent, your captain will choose one to anchor near so that you can enjoy a relaxed day at the beach. Ever wonder where the beach was that Captain Jack Sparrow was marooned on in the original “Pirates of the Caribbean?” That postcard-perfect island is one of many in this region offering total bliss with pristine white sands framed by strikingly clear cobalt waters and strewn with coconut palm trees. As the only way to reach these tiny islands is by boat, it ensures a crowd-free experience.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
- DAY 3
St. George's, Grenada
Your next stop is Grenada, “the Spice Island.” It’s renowned for its spice plantations with the aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla wafting through the air while the mountainous interior is made up of rainforest and nature reserve. Just north of picturesque St. George’s, you can marvel at the 30-foot-high Annandale Falls and even swim at its base. From the scenic inlet of Carenage filled with colorful fishing boats with Georgian buildings at the north end, follow the historic Sendall Tunnel to the Esplanade and old Fort George. Here you can take in a magnificent view over the island.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
- DAY 4
Tobago Cays, Grenadines
A cluster of five uninhabited cays that are part of the Tobago Cays Marine Park, is your next destination. These tiny islets are well-protected ensuring they remain pristine. Virtually deserted, they’re renowned for snorkeling and diving with remarkably clear water home to vibrant coral reefs with both hard and soft corals, colorful fish, sea turtles, eagle rays, and other marine life. You’re virtually guaranteed to see lots of exotic fish in water that’s just five to 12 feet deep making it ideal for even beginning snorkelers. The best spot for turtles is just off Baradel Beach in the protected grassy area.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
- DAY 5
Kingstown, St. Vincent & Admiralty Bay, Bequia
Continue your journey through paradise by sailing to St. Vincent. Typically, the ship anchors off the southern tip of the main island at Young Island, filled with coconut trees, mangroves, and spectacular beaches. Spend some time here before sailing to the “most perfect” of all the Caribbean isles, Bequia. Anchoring in the lovely harbor at the capital of Port Elizabeth, you’ll find colorful wooden shacks housing beach bars and eateries, easily accessed by a footpath. The sands are an ideal place to relax with a glass of rum punch while the clear turquoise water is another great place for a swim or snorkel.

- DAY 6
Fort de France, Martinique
The French island of Martinique is renowned for its picturesque beaches as well as its rich history and culture. Visiting the capital of Fort de France, it’s home to colonial architecture, enticing boutiques, and eateries serving spicy Creole dishes. La Francese is right in the Old Town and features a 17th-century fort nearby along with idyllic white sands and palm trees. You’ll have time to enjoy the beaches too and your Star Clipper’s ship will move to dock near one depending on the conditions, where you’ll be able to use the water sports platform and local beach to relax and swim in the warm waters.
