Built in 2000, it blends modern technology and historic tradition, oozing elegance from bow to stern. Designed for travelers who love to sail but aren’t fond of massive cruise ships, she has a maximum capacity for 227 passengers who can look forward to exceptional service, plenty of space, and impressive facilities along with a more intimate experience.

                  Embarkation of your Star Clippers Cruise, Bridgetown, Barbados

                  Barbados welcomes visitors with white powdery sands, warm translucent turquoise water, and lots of friendly smiles. Upon arrival to Grantley Adams International Airport, your driver will provide a private transfer to the port where your ship awaits. After checking in, you might check out the facilities which include three pools, a fitness center, and a spa with a hot tub, steam room, and a menu of pampering treatments, including massages. As the ship departs, enjoy the spectacular Caribbean scenery that surrounds you, perhaps with a cocktail in hand, toasting to the journey ahead during the Signature Star Clippers Sailaway.

                  Your first destination is lush St. Lucia, renowned for its stunning tropical beauty that includes beautiful white and black sand beaches, cascading waterfalls, banana plantations, a drive-through volcano, and the famous Pitons, a pair of emerald mountains with soaring peaks that rise from the turquoise sea. Anchoring at Rodney Bay on the northwestern coast, you’ll find many shops, bars, and eateries along with idyllic sands and opportunities for watersports. You may be able to enjoy an optional excursion to Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens & Mineral Baths, a top attraction providing the chance to swim beneath the cascades while surrounded by breathtaking scenery.

                  Sail with Star Flyer to Cabrits, Dominica

                  Today the Royal Clipper will meet up with the elegant four-masted Star Flyer to sail together towards the northwestern tip of Dominica, home to Cabrits National Park. Covering over 1,300 acres, it protects tropical forests, wetlands, and coral reefs with rich marine diversity making it popular for snorkeling and diving. The restored 18th Century Fort Shirley is here too, providing an ideal vantage point for soaking up panoramic views of Prince Rupert Bay. You might enjoy an optional scenic trek to Trafalgar Falls with time for a swim and a visit to Boiling Lake. One of the world’s largest, it sits in a volcanic crater.

                  Today you’ll head to the horseshoe-shaped bay at Falmouth Harbour near the small village of Falmouth which hosts shops, bars, and eateries along with breathtaking views. Visitors can enjoy swimming and all sorts of water sports, including paddleboarding and kayaking, or simply relax on one of the white sandy beaches. This is a great place to snorkel too with warm, crystal-clear cobalt water home to shallow reefs and abundant marine life. UNESCO-listed Nelson’s Dockyard is worth a visit, standing testament to the island’s colonial past. Built in the 18th century, the former naval base houses shops, restaurants, and the Dockyard Museum.

                  Your next stop is St. Kitts, part of the two-island nation, St. Kitts and Nevis renowned for awe-inspiring tropical scenery with everything from lush rainforest to quintessential picture-perfect beaches. You’ll have time to explore Basseterre, the colorful capital home to “The Circus,” a popular gathering place surrounding the main square where vendors sell everything from unique gifts to fresh fruit. You might tour the old plantation homes before heading to one of the picturesque beaches to enjoy time snorkeling or swimming in a serene setting, with beach bars and eateries providing enticing spots for delicious eats and refreshing drinks.

                  Continue to the island of Terre de Haut, one of the two inhabited islands of Les Saintes, a group of nine unspoiled islands that lie off Guadeloupe, sometimes referred to as the French islands that time forgot. A mix of French charm and tropical scenery, its most famous beach is Sugar Loaf (Anse du Pain du Sucre), a secluded stretch that can be reached via a scenic 20-minute walk passing towering palms and verdant fields. It sits in a perfect small bay with a curve of white sands and invited inviting aquamarine water that’s as clear as glass and ideal for swimming.

                  Martinique

                  Venturing over to your last island, Martinique is also a French island, renowned for its gorgeous beaches. The options on beaches are endless from the northern to the southern tip, with some that are chalk-white and immaculate while others boast unique volcanic black sands. Your captain will anchor near one that’s perfect for you to spend the day – the beach is the focus of your visit to this island. Look forward to opportunities for snorkeling, diving, kayaking, kite surfing, jet skiing, and more. You’ll want to savor the day whether you prefer to relax or enjoy watersports in this Caribbean paradise.
