Day by Day Itinerary
- DAY 1
Embarkation of your Windstar Cruise, San Juan, Puerto Rico
Upon arrival to the airport, take your private transfer to the Port of San Juan. Embark your Windstar ship, settle into your stateroom and perhaps explore the ship’s wonderful facilities. As you’re docked in the heat of Old San Juan, there may be time to explore before your cruise departs.

- DAY 2
Cruz Bay, St. John, US Virgin Islands
St. John is the smallest of the three main US Virgin Islands at 20 square miles in size, but it’s jam-packed with beauty, including what’s often named among the world’s most beautiful beaches, Trunk Bay. A crescent of soft, chalk-white sands framed by brilliant cobalt water, it’s a top spot to snorkel with an underwater snorkeling trail. Your ship will dock at Cruz Bay, a short drive away, with optional tours and taxis available to take you there. If you want to hike explore among lush scenery, head to Virgin Islands National Park. Its diverse ecosystems include tropical forests, coral reefs, and mangroves.

Basseterre, St.Kitts & Nevis
Cruising on to St. Kitts & Nevis, your ship docks in Port Zante in the heart of Basseterre, St. Kitts’ capital, known for its Georgian architecture and backed by vibrant green hills. There are numerous optional excursions like a foodie experience at Fairview Great House & Botanical Garden featuring a feast of local dishes influenced by Indian, African, and European cuisine. Rum lovers can join the run tasting/history tour while underwater fans can take a snorkeling safari. Or, take the optional tour the island’s highlights with everything from the oldest Anglican Church in the Caribbean to visiting an idylic beach with a Caribbean lunch included.

- DAY 4
Gustavia, St. Barths
St. Barths is your next destination, known as for attracting those who enjoy a luxurious lifestyle as one of the most sophisticated and stylish islands in the Caribbean. Some compare it to the French Riviera as a shoppers’ paradise with high-end local boutiques, designer stores, and artisanal shops, along with similarly beautiful beaches. Watch for the rich and famous while exploring independently or join an optional excursion, including a day at a luxury beachfront resort enjoying water sports equipment and sunbathing. A self-guided tour with a rental car and recommended itineraries is available as is a catamaran excursion with snorkeling.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten
Sailing to the smallest island shared by two different countries, the Netherlands and France, your ship will anchor near Philipsburg on St. Maarten’s Dutch side. You’ll see picturesque pastel-colored buildings and on Front Street, casinos for those who want to try their luck, tendy boutiques, and restaurants serving delicious Creole dishes. Your optional excursions include the Soualiga Sky Explorer ride to the summit of the island’s highest peak, featuring a panoramic view over St. Maarten and neighboring islands like Saba, St. Eustatius, Anguilla, and St. Barts. Or visit Rockland Estate with a museum housed in a restored 18th-century plantation home.

Great Harbour, Jost Van Dyke, British Virgin Islands
The eight-square-mile island of Jost Van Dyke is next on the itinerary. This stunning jewel has a rich, melting pot history resulting in some of the best dining in the Caribbean, with a focus on fresh seafood, barbecue, and Indian on menus at beachside eateries. Your optional excursions include a snorkeling catamaran tour to uninhabited Sandy Cay, surrounded by a vibrant barrier reef or a catamaran trip to Norman Island, better known as Treasure Island, featured in Robert Louis Stevenson’s famous novel of the same name. Along the way you’ll enjoy expert local insight and awe-inspiring BVI and USVI views.

Prickly Pear, Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands
Traveling to the final destination of your cruise, Virgin Gorda, the ship anchors at Prickly Pear Island. Named for the prickly pear cacti dotted across it, it’s a bird sanctuary with spectacular scenery, a beach bar, and water sports facilities. An optional excursion can bring you to the breathtaking natural wonder called The Baths. Made up of huge granite boulders with tidal pools, tunnels, and caves, it’s the perfect spot for a memorable swim. Or you can hop aboard a dive boat for a snorkeling tour that includes two outstanding snorkeling spots selected by your captain. Afterward, enjoy a highlight of any Windstar Caribbean cruise, their Signature Beach Barbecue and Party onshore.

Disembark in San Juan, Puerto Rico
After a week of cruising the Caribbean, it’s time to return to San Juan, Puerto. The ship will dock in the heart of Old San Juan, just steps from its cobbled streets and Spanish colonial buildings. After breakfast, you’ll disembark and meet your private driver who will provide a private transfer to your local hotel if you plan on extending your time here, or to the airport.
