Emerald Cruises

Staterooms: A complimentary mini-bar is provided in the Owner’s One-bedroom Suites and Riverview Suites on board the Emerald Cruises fleet. These mini-bars are restocked daily with wine, beer, and soft drinks. The Terrace Suite, Yacht Suite and Grand Balcony Suites also benefit from in-suite mini-bars, which are available for a small fee. The Balcony Suites and Staterooms all boast a mini-fridge (unstocked). All staterooms have a flat screen TV with infotainment, comfy beds, hair dryer, safe and individual climate control systems. They also have marble bathroom with bathrobes and slippers along with a range of luxury ESPA toiletries.

Wellness: Each of the Emerald Cruises Star-Ships and luxury yachts boasts an on board fitness room, with high-grade equipment and gym apparatus. River ships have an indoor swimming pool that converts to a cinema in the evening. Yachts have a watersports platform with complimetary watersports equipment. The Elements Spa offers treatments and an infrared sauna, and trained masseuses offer massages in a serene massage therapy room.

Amenities: Daily entertainment including cultural performances, Internet access and complimentary fleet of bicycles for use onshore. Depending on the itinerary, local performers may come onboard to provide after-dinner entertainment. On board selected cruises, Emerald also offers a range of EmeraldPLUS experiences including a special Provencal dinner cooked by chef Fabien Morreale.

Excursions: There is a selection of included excursions, along with all EmeraldPLUS experiences and EmeraldACTIVE activities. Note that there is also a selection of optional DiscoverMORE excursions for both river and yacht, which are available at an additional cost and can be booked on board.

Food & Drink: All meals on board, plus a selection of drinks with lunch and dinner.

There is no set dress code on Emerald Cruises and dinner is informal. However, on certain evenings such as the Welcome and Farewell Dinners, you may prefer to dress a little smarter.

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available on board all Emerald Cruises Star-Ships and luxury yachts throughout the public spaces, cabins, and suites. Please note, Wi-Fi connection strength and speed may change as the vessel moves.

The process of getting on and off river cruise ships, particularly when docked along side other ships, can cause issues for those passengers with walking difficulties.

River – Lifts are present on each of the Emerald Cruises Star-Ships and service three of the four decks. Only the top deck, which is the Sun Deck, is not serviced, meaning access to the Sun Deck is restricted to the stairs.

Yacht – Guests on board the luxury yachts staying in the Terrace Suites and Yacht Suites can have two items laundered per day. Owner’s One-bedroom Suite guests can have up to four items laundered per day. Guests in all other suites and cabins can request laundry services for an additional fee.

Meals in the restaurant are served on an open dining basis, so you can sit where and when you like. Tables for two are available on board but they cannot be reserved so can’t guarantee that you’ll get your preferred table size every time you dine.

Emerald river ships also offer a cinema, but again, reservations are not possible and operates on a first come, first serve basis.

Laundry services provided by the crew, are available on board all Emerald cruise ships but allowances are dependent on the cabin category booked.

Emerald Cruises includes all gratuities on board their ships and on their shore excursions. While gratuities are included, guests can still tip local tour guides in cash at the end of their tours if they wish.
