This strategic partnership positions Glide as the first UK network service provider to offer its services via Connectbase's innovative Configure Price Quote (CPQ) platform, aptly named 'The Connected World.' In essence, this union promises to streamline and expedite how service providers globally procure and manage connectivity services within the United Kingdom, introducing a new era of location-based intelligence and automated quoting.
Glide boasts a staggering 2,000 kilometers of dedicated fibre network spanning the UK, inclusive of 14 metropolitan dark fibre networks in major cities such as Birmingham, Manchester, and Leeds. Furthermore, Glide's extensive fibre network extends its reach to approximately 400 business parks, hitherto underserved by other providers. With its multi-terabit network, Glide delivers last-mile connectivity to enterprise locations and campuses, achieving speeds of up to 100Gbit/s. This partnership enables service providers worldwide to harness Glide's expansive network footprint, ongoing fibre network expansions, and adaptable service delivery model, as available on The Connected World platform.
