Apple introduces the 15-inch MacBook Air

With a similar design to its 13-inch sibling, the company announced yesterday that the product is available for sale as of Tuesday, June 13, with a starting price of $1,099.

Billed as the world's thinnest laptop, it features an expansive 15.3-inch liquid retina display, increased performance of M2 ( up to 18 hours of battery life), and a silent fanless design. It also has a six-speaker sound system, immersive spatial audio with a 080p FaceTime HD camera, MagSafe charging, and macOS Ventura for performance.

“We’re thrilled to introduce the first 15-inch MacBook Air. With its incredible performance and striking design, the new MacBook Air is the world’s best 15-inch laptop. And it’s only possible with Apple silicon,” said John Ternus, Apple’s senior vice president of Hardware Engineering. Weighing just 3.3 pounds, it comes with two Thunderblolt ports for accessory connections.
